In recent years, enotourism is gaining more and more popularity, where you can get acquainted with local winemaking traditions. Agree, such a trip will be an ideal vacation option, where you can combine business with pleasure – relax with a glass of wine, admire famous vineyards and discover many new domestic wine brands. We tell you where to start with enotourism in Russia.
Now the main multifunctional wine production for our modest pleasure is located in the Crimea, in the hotel Mriya Resort & SPA. We are talking about Winepark, the wine tourism center opened in 2021. In addition to the winery, in the 30-hectare park area, tourists also have access to vineyards, a restaurant and a wine cellar, a sommelier robot that can serve up to 10 people at a time. its own cheese factory, an amphitheater for recreation and various events, and a unique exhibition space both in the building itself and outdoors. More recently, Winepark has offered its own wine, which can now be tasted in the park.
And if you’re on the lookout for your next vacation, here are five reasons why you should head to Winepark, even if you can’t tell Sauvignon versus Cabernet.

Picturesque vineyard by the sea
The total area of the vineyard is 7.75 hectares. Having studied the local exhibition, the experts of the wine park decided on two varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon occupied the main part of the vineyard, and the Mourvedre variety occupied the rest.

Gravity Winery
The winery includes four underground levels. The principle of gravity winemaking excludes the use of mechanical or other means of pumping grape must and wine during production. All movements of wine materials occur by free flow only under the influence of gravity. It is this careful attitude that allows you to improve the quality of the finished wine and obtain a product that best reflects the authenticity of the terroir.

Local cuisine restaurant
Winekitchen is a Lokavor cuisine restaurant. All meals are prepared with local produce grown and produced by small and medium farms within a radius of 160 kilometers. Together with local farmers and producers, the project creates a new language of Crimean cuisine that assimilates, preserves and changes the culinary traditions of the peoples surrounding the peninsula. In Winekitchen, food and wine work together, emphasize and complement each other.

Architectural
The main principles guiding the design of the building are environmental friendliness, minimal interference with the natural space and functional modern architecture. It is worth a single 54.5 meters high tower, which offers panoramic views of the sea and the entire area of the Winepark.
The winery building is designed to be completely symmetrical and the whole project is mirrored in terms of the main axis extending from the main entrance and ending with an observation deck (cantilever bridge).
A group of architects from SB-Development LLC was responsible for the architectural concept of Winepark. The contractor for the development of the design project of the Winepark building was architectural firm T+T Architects. Their main task was to harmoniously fit the project into the natural landscape. Concrete, corten, brass and glass were used in the construction of the tower and winery.

Tasting with a robot sommelier
On the Winepark grounds is the world’s first robotic complex that serves guests, selects wine according to their preferences and pours it into a glass without human intervention. The functionality of the sommelier robot includes personal tasting, participation in wine tests, matches and a casino.
In general, the main idea of the Winepark wine tourism center is not just wine tasting. The creators of the project have big plans – to combine the best initiatives in winemaking, enotourism and enogastronomy in order to become one of the centers of world wine culture and revive Russia as a unique viticulture region.
