Netflix releases in December: Emily in Paris, Christmas series and much more

Like every month, the streaming platform brings us new premieres of series, films and documentaries. Last month we had one of the most anticipated releases of the year, the return of The crown, which came after the death of Elizabeth II. In December we will see the return of Emily in Paris, the series that has deeply conquered the audience, but which critics do not tolerate very well. Some Christmas titles arrive like thunderstorm before Christmaswhich is about a group of people who get stuck at the airport with 24 hours left until Christmas.

The successful series of The crowntold in the ten chapters of the fifth season, some of the most controversial and traumatic events of Elizabeth’s reign, including the “Annus horribilis”. Divorces, fires and compromising statements have made this season a rollercoaster of emotions, with Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki’s magnificent portrayal of Diana standing out. In November we were also able to enjoy the premiere of the series Wednesdaydirected by Tim Burton, fiction has been named one of the surprises of the year. Both the story and the charismatic protagonist draw viewers into adventures within the Never again academy. Will this happen with any of the upcoming releases?

Smith’s portrait of a family and an artist is as surreal as it is a sentimental reflection on life, an ode to the unbridled making of art that gradually releases its own manual.

For lovers of Christmas content, Netflix will release “Storm for Christmas” in December. It is December 2022 and several people are arriving at Oslo airport, some to pick up their loved ones, others to reunite with their families and others to fly away from Christmas. But their Christmas mission goes awry and they get stuck at the airport.
