Amal evoked Old Hollywood glamor in her shimmering dress, which was a pearly white seashell covered in crystals and sequins. Her floor-length gown hugged her slim figure as she dropped a slim sleeve gracefully over her shoulder.

Keeping with the sparkly theme, she accessorized with a shiny silver clutch, chunky bracelet, and diamond drop earrings. She even wore heels with chrome spikes. Amal’s hair was in loose brown curls and she was smiling behind her red lips.

While Amal was the center of attention, George was elegant as ever. He wore a classic tuxedo, along with the rainbow necklace awarded to the Kennedy Center Honorees.

The Kennedy Center Honors first took place in 1978. This year’s event will be televised via CBS on December 22nd.
