For some reason, we underestimate the romance of the Trans-Siberian Railway, but we know many foreigners whose dream (complete or unfinished) is to go from Moscow to Vladivostok with Trans-Siberian. However, if you extended this rail line to a single line, it would practically embrace the Earth – it would cover 73% of its diameter. The route itself passes through 7 time zones and 87 cities and takes 6 days.
You cannot go on such a journey without preparation, but thanks to the organizers of the Moscow Gastronomy Festival, thanks to the fact that hundreds of restaurants in Moscow along the legendary train route have sets dedicated to the local cuisine. Liza Matsenko, Creative Director of the IGF, explained the concept: “We decided that the image of the Siberian Express was the best way to represent this idea, because by representing the regions it combines and shows the character of the whole country at the same time. all the diversity.”
Well, The Fashion Vibes columnist Anya Baturina says if you haven’t toured all 100 restaurants before, by December 11 you can now “where to eat?” He’s sure he shouldn’t have any questions. He chose the 13 most interesting sets of the festival that we presented to you to start your acquaintance with Russia.

Named after the ritual drink that brings absolute joy and immortality, the set at the Soma restaurant is, of course, dedicated to hedonism. Italian Mirko Dzago was seriously inspired by Italian and Russian cultures and mixed them in his fantasy about the Siberian Express. For example, a tomato symbolizes sunny Italy, a crab is the endpoint of the Trans-Siberian Railway, and a soup is the author’s vision of a herring under a fur coat.

The meaning of all this – everyone understands for himself.
