Women reveal the weirdest things men do when it comes to dating

Hundreds of single women got together to share their creepiest first date stories and admitted that the road to love is full of shame.

The viral thread was started by a woman who admitted to being “obsessed” with bad dating stories after hearing her own friends complain about men.

“When my friend went to the bathroom, she ate all of his sushi roll,” the young woman said.

And it wasn’t long before hundreds of people submitted their own horror stories, including a woman who was excited to shoot on her first date.

“He told me he likes to hunt and shoot, I thought it sounded like a good date,” she said.

“He wasn’t, he took me to the landfill to shoot rats,” she said.

Another woman said her date took her to an aquarium even though she hated nothing to do with fish.

“He would always tell me how much he hated fishing and how stupid they were,” he said.

When asked why he took the trouble to go to the aquarium, he was told that he wanted her to understand how much he hated marine life.

But it wasn’t just the date’s destination and work preferences that were at issue—others were also confused about the date’s meal choices.

“I ate something I didn’t like, so the guy I was with told me to spit it on his hand,” one woman said.

Then he ate and said he was going to ask me about the ‘mother bird’ but he didn’t want to scare me on our first day.”

Another said that she had fantasized about her date being rich before choosing not to order anything for dinner.

When the bill came, she handed it to him and said, “Well, you ate and I didn’t”, furious that he invited her on a date and chose the restaurant.

Another woman feels like she escaped a bullet after her first date, when her future lover initially revealed her true nature.

“She told me she tested positive for chlamydia, but that was okay because she went back to her ex and had unprotected sex while she was infected, so the woman was unknowingly rotting from the inside.”

When the man found out that his ex was cheating on him, he decided that he would never talk to her again, and thought that the act was some kind of revenge.

Another woman, who decided not to see her lover again, said that she was the impostor in the script, and the consequences were almost fatal.

“I went on a date with a guy I know a little bit from work. “There was an emergency in the middle of the day and he asked me to take him to the hospital, he wanted me to come with him,” he said.

Before explaining, he said, “After I took him from his house, his wife attempted suicide (I thought it was his house and he even told me that his sister and daughter are also his nephew).

One woman said she once thought “bad dating” stories were mostly creative writing exercises until she experienced it herself.

“One time a guy took me to a corn maze and a little boy jumped out to ‘scare’ us (it wasn’t the creepy thing the guy was having fun with) and my date told him he was going to kidnap him and cut his tongue out. The baby was about six years old,” she said.

“It’s all very believable because people always react to these things and say they’re wrong,” said another.

But some men decided to stand up for their friends in the stories, especially the “rich guy” who didn’t pay the bill.

“He didn’t eat anything, why would he pay?” said one man.

But others in the chat claimed she was in bad shape and wasted her time on a date inviting him to dinner just for a glass of water.
