Cherry blossom season in J’Pan
Now the eyes of all Japanese are focused on the phenomenon of incredible beauty – in the land of the rising sun, sakura flowers and Hanami – the holiday of admiring flowers continues. In order to transport the guests of the small bistro thousands of kilometers to this magnificent place, the interior of J’PAN is decorated with sakura and camellia branches, all the packaging is painted pink, making the bistro magical. a harbinger of a bright holiday for a while. And not just. Floral-spring inspiration touched everything – J’PAN has launched its hanami menu, which is available at the bistro until the end of April.
Chef Vladislav Kistaev added pink udon with mackerel (690 rubles) to his hanami menu. The bright pink udon noodles at the bistro are cooked in a Japanese Yamato machine and topped with beetroot powder. The dessert holiday menu includes a bowl of takoyaki (690 rubles) with a touch of Japanese takoyaki buns. The classic scones have been replaced with mochi-takoyaki with blueberries. In the bistro, caramel and chocolate sauces are served in a bowl with shavings of a mixture of whipped cream, cherry confit and black and white chocolate. Takoyaki bowl is decorated with Japanese Pocky sticks with sakura. Another mochi innovation is confit pink fish taiyaki sakura (350 rubles) with strawberry shiroan and strawberry sakura. And in the Hanami holiday dessert showcase, bistro guests can find a pink dessert mousse cherry ice cream (390 rubles) with chocolate sakura blossom.
