Remember everything: in which famous films the stars of “Dragon’s House” starred

“Dragon House” became the most talked about TV series of the year. Perhaps only Rings of Power, whose budget is almost $1 billion, can compete with it. As true fans, we can honestly admit that the Game of Thrones prequel lived up to our expectations. And especially pleased with the perfectly matched cast that made the Targaryen family fall in love (special thanks to Matt Smith for that).

In addition to well-known actors who have already acted in large-scale projects, there are those for whom the role in the “Dragon House” was first significant in the series. For example, for Millie Alcock, the lead actress playing the role of Reynira Targaryen, this is the first international project.

Before the prequel to “Games”, we decided to remember where the main characters of the series were filmed.

Paddy

Paddy Considine takes on the role of King Viserys, a completely harmless and good ruler of Westeros. He is best known for roles in the films Dead Man’s Shoes and The Bourne Ultimatum, as well as the TV series Peaky Blinders and The Third Day. But in addition to the cinema, the actress also excelled in music. Considine appeared in the Arctic Monkeys video for the song Leave Before The Lights Come On. He also created the band Riding The Low.

Millie Alcock

Millie began her film career in 2013 with an episodic role in the multi-part project Wonderland. In the same period, she participated in the filming of various commercials such as the KFC network. At the same time, the young actress left school for the sake of career. And all for good reason – in the same year he was offered the main role in the TV series “Piano”.

Perhaps the funniest fact in her biography is that she hadn’t watched a single episode of Game of Thrones as she was only 11 when the series aired. So, after Millie was approved for the main role, she had to watch it. Check out George Martin’s books for the series and spin-offs, and spend a few weeks watching eight seasons of Game of Thrones.

Emma D’Arcy

In the series, Emma plays the role of the adult Princess Rainier, who will have to fight for the throne with her brothers. The actress made her film debut in 2015, starring in the short film United Strong Alone. 2018 landed him a role in the television series Passion for Adventure, in which he co-starred with Toni Collette and Stephen Mackintosh. And in 2021, the drama “The Handmaid’s Romance” was released. Emma played the bride of the protagonist, who, in fact, does not want to marry him, but simply follows the beliefs of her parents.

In addition to his acting career, he is also the artistic director of queer theatre. He gives performances dedicated to the lives of LGBT individuals. Moreover, D’Arcy declared herself a non-binary person and refused to be restricted to a single gender.

Emily Carey

Emily Carey’s first major role came in 2016 when she played the lead character in Wonder Woman as a child. In 2020, Emily appeared in the TV series Get Even as one of four students of an elite school who formed a secret society to expose hooligans, and played the main character in Anastasia. The latest feature film is based on the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanova.

olivia the cook

The role of adult Alicent Hightower went to Olivia Cooke. And this is his first non-horror project. Before that, the actress starred in almost the same horror films – “Golem”, “Signal” and others. Also, Olivia leads an active social life. She supported the Save the Children campaign by appearing in a Bulgari commercial in 2014. The organization deals with the improvement of children’s education and health system, as well as protection from violence and natural disasters.

Matt Smith

Matt Smith is perhaps the only person on this list that needs no introduction. Someone loves him for his Eleventh Doctor Who role, one for Prince Philip on The Crown. But to argue with the fact that Damon Targaryen’s role is one of his best, frankly, no one wants that.
