On September 28, KION online cinema will premiere the first episode of the military drama series Union of Salvation. Time of Wrath ”- the continuation of the 2019 painting of the same name. A few years ago, the film was the most successful at the Russian box office, so the authors of the project decided to continue this story.

Liberation Union. Time of Wrath is both a prequel and a sequel to The Union of Salvation. The action of the historical drama begins in the first half of the 19th century, when Russian officers celebrate the victory over Napoleon in Paris, and in 1826 near the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress, St. It ends in St. Petersburg. The main characters of the series are young representatives of the military elite, eager to change the order of life in the country.
The series accurately conveys the era of that era, this can be seen both on the stage and in the clothes of the main characters. The costume designers managed to recreate the historical images of the Decembrists and skillfully feel the dramatic side of the picture.
The staff is just as impressive! The leading roles were played by Leonid Bichevin, Maxim Matveev, Pavel Priluchny, Anton Shagin, Ivan Kolesnikov, Ivan Yankovsky, Sofia Ernst, Ingeborga Dapkunaite, Igor Petrenko, Alexander Ustyugov, Sergei Bezrukov and others.
“I am glad that the history of the Liberation League continues. The stories of bright and versatile personalities touch the plot of the series. I play the role of Colonel, brutal handsome Pavel Pestel. He is a brave and ideological person who thinks a few steps ahead. I cannot say that I created my character from scratch, because there are many testimonies and memories of him. But his image is not that common, so I had the opportunity to give him some of my own character traits. Find a hero that thousands can follow, ”said Pavel Priluchny.
Following its KION online cinema premiere, the film will be screened on First Channel.
