Sweet life: iconic desserts that have become restaurant icons

There are sweets that they come specially, and their photos are blowing up social networks. Sweets, which one you saw, you already understand: “Oh, this is from there!”. We share a selection of desserts that have become the symbols of businesses.

Pugs at BURO. TSUM

Pugs are part of BURO history. TSUM and restaurant symbol. Even before the opening of the project, its creators brought a pug-shaped salt and pepper shaker from France. Since then, each season the artists create a new collection for the restaurant: last summer, for example, there were dogs dressed in swimsuits and swimsuits on the tables. A year ago, they decided to make pugs edible and created a dessert out of them. Its official name is BÜRO. TSUM 1100 consists of banana mousse and strawberry lemonade and is covered with milk chocolate velvet. Look, isn’t it cute?

Bears in Redbox

Sweet bears, copying the Japanese Bearbrick bear collection collected by one of the owners of the Timati project, conquered all of Moscow. For the large, textured, multi-colored Bear Brick Cake bears, Redbox is known in the first place, not for its sushi and rolls.

Bears, it must be admitted, are really good not only in appearance, but also in taste: high-quality fine chocolate, the filling balanced in sweetness is excellent. And now there’s even a gluten-free version and an alcoholic version with tequila jelly. Yes, by the way, in social networks there is a detailed instruction on how to cut and eat this dessert from Timati personally (well, suddenly you yourself do not guess).

Irons at Sartoria Lamberti

Almost every guest of a gastronomic workshop wanted to take with him an iron iron that once stood on the restaurant table. And as the restaurant staff said, most of them did!

You can now take a copy home completely legally. Sartoria confectioners have created a solid, heavy flat iron made from dark Belgian chocolate and coated with edible silver to more closely resemble the original. It can be eaten as chocolate or shelved as a souvenir within a month of purchase. By the way, iron can be a good gift – it easily survives transportation. The only thing you absolutely should not do is heat it up: however, unlike the original, it is not metal and will therefore melt.

Souffle Contemporary Steak at 800°C

How many times have we seen the reels of how a lush soufflé hat is squeezed out of a copper pot with a spoon – do not count! Not surprisingly, the special chocolate-raspberry souffle with raspberry sauce and ice cream is the most popular dessert at 800°С Contemporary Steak. Of course, guests also love it for its taste, but the desire to repeat all this – dipping a spoon into a souffle from a saucepan – seems irresistible. Try it too!

north cliff in Bjorn

Since one of the missions of the Bjorn restaurant is the connection between man and nature, it is not surprising that wildlife is the main theme in the dessert section as well. “White Rock” from chef Andrey Fedoseev – ice cream from mountain juniper, sweet crunchy reindeer moss boiled in juniper syrup and “earth” from white chocolate with a sweet and sour taste of thyme. Just look at it!

Bare trunks in Pr11

Just for the summer, the prosecco bar brought to the menu very textured desserts – in the form of female and male bodies and called them “Sparkling” and “Sparkling”. They were created by confectioners EM Cake based on strawberry and passion fruit puree and branded prosecco. There is also an intrigue in them: sweet “torses” are covered with chocolate cream of different shades, and which one you will get is not known last!

Chapel at FLØR

Dessert in the form of a capella – how do you like it? Moreover, FLØR has already taken its inspiration not from the Notre Dame du Haut chapel in the east of France, but from the Notre Dame du Haut chapel built by the architect Le Corbusier and protected by UNESCO. Like the chapel, the Yuzu dessert has neat irregular shapes, a play of light and color, and texture contrasts. A bed of crunchy hazelnut chocolate pretzels features a delicate cream of white chocolate, cream and yogurt, covered with clear yuzu gel and sprinkled with cayenne pepper powder. The team did their best: Yuzu is FLØR’s most popular and Instagram shareable dessert.

“Napoleon” in Kalabasa

If you love Napoleon cake, you probably know where to get the best samples. One of these places is Kalabasa patisserie. Moscow is famous for six types of Napoleon: classic vanilla, cheese, chocolate, caramel, lemon and raspberry cheese. And the last one is one of the most popular. The cake is made from handmade puff pastry in butter, and the cakes are topped with cream cheese frosting with vanilla and glossy raspberry marmalade.

Colloquially Arabic Cake

Arabian pastry Muakacha, cooked with tens of thin layers of puff pastry with cream, milk and eggs, is the new star of social networks. Not so long ago, no one knew what it was, and now they want to try the “crumpled” pie (this is how the name of the new dessert is translated from Arabic) from the breakfast menu and take a picture! – all. Finally, and not surprisingly: thin layers of dough, custard, sesame seeds, waffle crumbs, vanilla sauce, as well as fresh yogurt with subtle notes of sage and Uzbek lemon – really tasty.

Churros at Sangre Fresca

The most famous Spanish dessert by the Mexican chef Marco Antonio Ferreira is a good mix. Also, in general, there are not many places in Moscow where you can find traditional sweets (and non-traditional ones as well). Here, desserts are served with vanilla ice cream and cocoa sauce. And since Sangre Fresca is this summer’s new star, its most popular dessert is also poised to become a star. Be prepared for the fact that it is unusually sweet, as it should be in Spain. By the way, what we are surprised is the dessert.
