A young finance guru known for sharing unknown money tricks has revealed how he can make hundreds of dollars off of JB Hi-Fi products.
Queenie Tan of Sydney explained that the entertainment and technology company has a price guarantee, which means that if the cost of a product drops after purchasing a product, the customer will receive a credit from the store.
In an Instagram video, he showed the politics in a hypothetical scenario between a 25-year-old customer and a JB Hi-Fi employee.
“I confirmed with them yesterday and it works for Black Friday and Boxing Day sales too!” Queenie states.
But customers only get credit if they apply.

Queenie explained that the popular entertainment and tech company has a price guarantee, which means that after a customer buys an item, if the price drops, they will receive a credit from the store.
JB Hi-Fi’s pricing policy outlines “negotiable deals” that are part of the brand’s “everyday promise.”
The policy states, “If the price of an item you ordered through Click & Collect drops, you’ll be offered store credit, products worth the difference, or a refund when you pick them up at the store.” †
This means customers can save money by requesting a refund to be credited to their JB Hi-Fi account to use in an individual sale.
In the comments, other Instagram users couldn’t believe what they didn’t know before the practical tip.
“I had no idea about this money trick,” one person wrote, while another added: “Great! I love it.’
“I bought a $4.5K TV last December and it’s selling for about $33,000 at Christmas. I would like to know sooner,” added the third.
Another said, “Oh, would it work if I bought it a few days before Christmas and saw less of Boxing Day?” he asked.
And Queenie said, ‘Yeah, right!! That’s what the lady at JB Hi-Fi recommends to her clients.’

Earlier this year, Queenie announced how to save money by ordering food from McDonald’s – customers get small chips, special Big Mac salsa and a small drink with both meals, but the Happy Meal is a little cheaper and comes with a toy or a book.
Earlier this year, Queenie explained how to save money by ordering food from McDonald’s.
While working at the fast food giant as a teenager, Queenie noticed that McNuggets Happy Meal for kids and McNuggets Small Meal for Kids for adults included the same menu items.
But Happy Meal for kids is $2 cheaper and costs $8.30, while the adult version is $10.30.
“I worked at Macca’s and found out that you can get nuggets or a Happy Meal cheeseburger, the same, but $2 less!” Queenie, 25, wrote on her Instagram.
Customers get small fries, special Big Mac sauce, and a small drink with either option, but Happy Meal is slightly less expensive and comes with a toy or book.
Queenie said you can ask the employee to keep the book or toy if you want.
