“The best advice here is to get to know yourself: By being confident and honest about what you really want, you can be honest on your dates to get your expectations clear from the start,” she said.
She added that it is important for men to know where they are in their life cycle and to always be at the forefront so as not to waste time on a date.
“If you want kids, be sensitive to the way you talk about them when you’re dating a woman. The fertility journey can be full of challenges, pain, fear, expectations and disappointments for many women,” she warned.
Women also need to figure out if they want to start a family and be aware that it can get harder each year.
“I don’t think you owe anything to your date, especially your first date, but it’s a good opportunity to test the waters for compliance with the baby issue.”
Understanding whether you are truly compatible when it comes to core values will help you avoid heartache later on, especially when it comes to monogamy and starting a family.
She explained that asking questions “without applying too much pressure” is key to checking the baby’s alignment.
He also offered open-ended questions about what life would be like ten years from now, rather than “guiding them through your endometriosis journey.”
