How to get to Cocos Keeling Islands
Virgin Australia flies from Perth to the Cocos Keeling Islands (CKI) twice a week starting at $580 one way. This is a triangular route that includes Christmas Island (CI).
On Tuesdays the plane leaves Perth and flies to CI, then CKI and back to Perth. On Fridays, the flight departs from Perth to CKI, CI and Perth.
Alternatively, a number of private jet charters are available to take passengers to CKI.
While many people from Australia sail the CKI, they are currently in exceptional condition and sailing vessels cannot enter the islands.
