Anne Milan, one of the most recognized actresses in our country -Camera Café, Physics or Chemistry, Yo Soy Bea, ByAnaMilán-, launches with his great friend Sebastián Gallego, the video podcast La Vida y Tal, which premiered exclusively on Podimo last Thursday, June 16, in a production together with Osmos Global.
Ana and Sebastián make their debut in the world of podcasts with an office where they want to solve all the problems that bother their followers. What if Elena Francis had WhatsApp? (Millennials, you have to find out who Elena is), because she is said to have presented Life and stuff. Because for Sebastián and Ana everything is important to them that happens to all of us. (And if it hasn’t happened to you, it will). It’s all about time. We will hear the tragic quotes and the ones that went well; the memorable anecdotes and the questions we all ask ourselves. You can ask them questions about the divine and the human. Of love and spirits. About the function of lubricants and the formula to forget your ex. Of life and all that.
“If anything interests me, it’s the human soul. I like daubed canvases, not blanks. I like lives where things have happened. Many things. So come on, go where no one can hear you and leave a message. Tell us your move. Whichever. Either to record your time in the world or so that we advise you not to pick up your ex’s phone,” says Ana Milan.
Through the audio that listeners send to WhatsApp of the program (phone 662 18 71 54), Ana Milán and Sebastián Gallego will advise us as if they were that faithful friend to whom we all turn, even if their answers sometimes hurt. Matters of love, heartbreak, ‘what the fuck’ moments… A podcast full of surrealism and costumbrismo, pop and rock, Shakespeare and Chenoa, where the pair of friends are exposed to the questions of their followers.
“I’ve decided that I’m going to do with Ana as Penelope does with Pedro: thank her by yelling into the wind and at every opportunity she can. I can’t think of anyone better than Ana to make my debut for the cameras or for a mimosa. Not even if I’m ghosted. Everything has been said,” says Sebastián Gallego, adding: “I have always felt guided and protected by her. We are two friends who have said everything, but who above all want a ‘jartá’. Otherwise they would never have told each other everything.”
The first episode will premiere this Thursday and every week fans can find a new episode to laugh, think and feel identified with the anecdotes and situations covered during the program.
“La Vida y Tal is one of Podimo’s most ambitious projects in Spain, both in terms of content and promotion. We are very proud that artists of Ana Podimo’s stature have chosen to make the leap to the podcast,” explains Juan Galiardo, Country Manager of Podimo in Spain.
A provocative message appears in the center of Madrid
To present the podcast, Podimo premiered a huge canvas in front of the Plaza de los Carros, in the heart of the La Latina neighborhood, featuring one of the actress’ most recognizable phrases: “Sometimes inner peace has to send a little more to hell.” This post did not go unnoticed in social networks, which increased the hype among Ana Milan’s followers – eager for the actress to reveal her new project -, flooding Twitter with memes containing the phrase.
The project was fully discovered through a canvas on June 15, a day after the actress revealed it to her followers via a direct message on her Instagram profile, which currently has 1.1 million followers. Plus, that canvas has been supplemented with footage of the podcast on the Seville tram and the rest of the action, in an unprecedented ad investment for a podcast.
