With the cost of living rising rapidly, many are looking for a bargain.
However, some people take things to the extreme when they see a good deal.
Facebook users took to shopping groups to reveal how they hoarded items when they saw them at discounted prices.

And some even say they have enough supplies for a full year.
A woman took to Facebook to share a photo of her pantry, filled with groceries, cleaning products, and other essentials.

“When the product I like is on sale, I buy as many as I can, sometimes enough for a year,” he writes.
While another posted a snapshot of another similar handout, writing, “Proud of my husband. He did a good job with our doomsday pantry. “
“Well, it’s really just a pantry to save money.
“We have so many stocks now that we are set to be good for the next few months.

“Almost everything was bought on sale. I am so lucky to have such a frugal family ”.
And as for the backlash these people have had on their posts, Wendy Gower, a mother-of-two and a blogger who calls herself a “professional shopkeeper,” told News.com.au it’s ridiculous.
“Buyers shouldn’t be criticized for making the most of a good deal,” he said.
“They are wise in taking care of their family and their budget.”
Despite their comments, the accumulators’ posts have drawn criticism from other social media users.
“Hoarding is fine in the current climate, but it’s polite to leave some for others, never empty the shelf unless there are only one or two left when you get there,” wrote one person.
While another added, “Someone could really use these chicken wings to bring their family during the week, so drop them too.”
