Maquellen Azevedo, 27, recently gave birth to three-month-old son Bryan and is shocked that people are calling her for breastfeeding her newborn in public.
Breastfeeding in public is still a huge taboo around the world.
The process, also known as breastfeeding, involves feeding a baby with human breast milk.

Today, an influencer spoke publicly to her 432,000 Instagram followers about breastfeeding.
Maquellen Azevedo, 27, recently welcomed her son Bryan, who is now three months old.
And she doesn’t seem to understand why breastfeeding in public is still taboo.

He wrote on Instagram: “I experienced a situation that until recently I considered so normal.
“Being a mother is not an easy task, but I felt the difficulty even more when strangers stared at me while I was breastfeeding my baby.
“I try not to ‘be careful’, after all what matters is their food, but it’s something that hurts me and I can’t miss it”.
By exposing herself on social media, the mother of the family has received the support of several women who have also suffered from this situation.
She added: “Breastfeeding is an act of resistance, and it’s important to talk and discuss it.
“I love breastfeeding my baby, I love seeing those little eyes looking at me in this special moment of ours”.
At the end of her post, Maquellen revealed why she chose to express her feelings with snapshots of her breastfeeding.
The mother admitted: “We are strong and what surrounds us will not take away that glow of love that highlights a place where we are together.”

Fans were quick to offer their support, as one said: “You don’t care what other people think, you are a strong and enlightened woman.
“You are going through the best phase a woman can go through.
“This bond between mother and child is one of the purest acts of love that exists and should be most respected by people.”
Another added: ‘How nice’, while a third exuberant: ‘Congratulations on the post’.
