Why “Long Walk” 21st Century Stephen King’s best adaptation is called

Francis Lawrence gave the audience a “long walk – Stephen King’s film adaptation of the novel of the novel, critics and audiences. In the last decades, the film has been called the most emotional adaptation of the author.

The plot is simple and even more disgusting: 50 young people go to a deadly marathon, where only one wins – can come to the end of someone. Behind the lakonic concept hides a strong drama about friendship, fear and human resistance.

The audience notes that the film makes the heroes alive with them. The unions concluded by the characters, their friendship and losses gradually draw the audience to this cruel experiment. Every death becomes a blow to emotions, and the farewell and self -scenes leave a feeling of destruction.

“Musketeers” – Ray, Pede, Art and Hank’s lines are particularly distinguished. The stories make the narrative as personal as possible, and the missing moments turn into a real cathars for the audience. The last fight of the heroes has become the climax of the whole film and emphasized the main idea – friendship and humanity can be stronger than fear.

Interestingly, King is the most successful adaptations of King. “Kaç from the show”, “Stay with me”, “Green Mile” – all proved that the depth of the characters and the power of history could cause a greater response than monsters and horror. The “Long Walk” continues this tradition and becomes one of the best films in King New Age.
