Whether they like it or they don’t like it, but it is impossible to pass by them – such a work conflicts with our usual perception of the world. As a rule, the rulers of these strips open the “society’s wounds” – shameful taboo issues, and silence is a hypocrisy. They move on our consciousness like toxin. We are uncomfortable: I want to escape or throw aggression.

We say which films of recent years have caused a public explosion and why and how their future fate developed.

We explain that some films have a 18+ age limit and are not recommended to view it to impressive people. “The Last Tango in Paris” is. Bernardo Bertolucci (1972)

Bernardo Bertolucci has repeatedly returned to taboo themes in the cinema. With Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider, the Son Son Tango in Paris ”is known as a classic with two Oscar nomination, but during the premiere, the film had to be removed from the show over and over again. The authorities accused the directors and actors of indigenous Italy of obscene, and the film was appointed to X (pornography), which replaced erotic scenes in 1982. Films were banned in Portugal, Singapore, New Zealand and the Republic of Korea. In the United States, only the NC-17 degree was appointed in 1997 (people under the age of 17 are not allowed).

The plot gives information about the young French woman and Vdinz, where the painful passion is connected. In particular, the audience was shocked by the “oil with oil”, which feminists still boycotted the film. It turned out that Maria Schneider was not warned about the rape scene in which the director conspired with Brando.

Later, the actor apologized to the actress and forgiven him, but not a director. Bertolucci did not repent from the title deed: he believed it was necessary for the sake of reliability in the framework. Fortunately, today there are curators on the set that protect the rights of actors.


“Salo or 120 days sodom”, is. Pierre Paolo Pazolini (1975)

Instead, Tinto Rice was appointed, but he was also deceived: After the completion of the filming, Gucciona added the scene to the film where the director did not shoot. However, these scandals only fueled the public interest.

Film in many countries appeared with cut scenes. At the Cannes Film Festival, he even restored the Gucciona cinema for a closed show. Despite the bad examination of critics, Caligula was commercially profitable.

For the sake of the necessary staff in Kharkov, a whole scientist city was built. The process itself lasted 15 years.

The DAU project saw light in 2019: It was shown on various sites of Paris. In total, it consists of 13 films (a total of 700 hours) that causes disputes of its content. In Russia, several films (“Dau. Natasha”, “Dau. New Man”, “Dau. Nora, Son”, “Dau. Sasha, Valera”) refused to give rent certificate because of scenes that encouraged pornography.
