
Kia Cambridge is dividing its house in two by placing a sheet in the center of the living room and says tenants will have to pay more if they want to use the facilities behind it.
One woman was branded “rubbish” when she sublet her son’s bedroom and used a sheet to divide the living room before charging her new tenant to use the house’s amenities.
Kia Cambridge, who appeared on TLC’s Extreme Cheapskates, said she could make extra cash while her son, Alex, goes to college.
In order to spend as little as possible on dividing the area of the house, the miserly mother places a sheet in the center of the living room and places it as a wall.
Margarita Fileto, one of the few potential tenants who comes to see the house, is surprised when she enters the house.

He shows the paper and asks, “What is this?”
Kia explains that this is a “separator,” adding, “The other items on the other side of the sheet are not included unless you pay for them.
“So the washing machine, the dryer, are on the other side of the sheet.”

If the renter does not want to use these amenities, Kia has placed a mini fridge, a hot plate and some cooking utensils next to the bed in the bedroom.
Kia continues and analyzes the rent: “What you pay here is the common space, the bedroom and the bathroom”.
At the end of the visualization, Kia has a viewer interested in renting the room and is happy and says, “Grant is exactly the tenant I was looking for, exactly.

“Now I’ve found it.”
His son Alex said he “felt bad” about the tenant, saying, “Sometimes he’s just a sissy and a pain in the ass.”
“It’s entirely possible that some of the new tenants will retire as soon as she starts breaking the rules.”
