Mom Kat Zoe Clark shares seven ‘hard’ rules for her kids

A mother of two went viral after listing the rules she’s made for her two daughters, ages 18 and 11, including being honest and always keeping her phone location active.

TikTok star Kat Zoe Clark from the Gold Coast city of Australia explained the rules in a one-minute video that has been watched over 2.9 million since the day it was posted.

The guidelines are divided into seven different categories: location, justice, party, sports, school, boyfriends, and rent.

For the first ‘position’ line, Kat said, “Yes, you have to take your position. Do I need to check? Probably not, unless you’re late.

He added that honesty is his “biggest policy”, adding that “I expect my children to be honest with me, but I will do the same for them.”

“When they ask me a question about my past, I’m 100% honest and I don’t hide anything,” he said.

Both girls can go to parties, but their age dictates the curfew.

‘The general rule is that if you’re in the ninth group, you should be home by nine. If you are in the 10th group, you will be home at 10 o’clock. I don’t care when you come home when you’re 18,” Kat said.

Kat’s two daughters also need to exercise to encourage physical education and limit “screen time” on their phones.

When it comes to school, Kat says she’s “relaxed” and encourages the kids to choose their own path, but they need a plan.

‘Actually, I’m very comfortable when it comes to school. But if my kids want to quit, they have to have a business plan or a job.”

Regarding the partners, Kat said: “My daughters may have boyfriends, but if I have a problem with their boyfriends, they should listen to my opinion on them.”

When they turn 18, they start paying rent or getting a job.

The viral video received mixed reactions from other TikTok users, some praising Kat, others disapproving of the rental rule.

“This is actually very reasonable,” one person wrote.

“Agree on everything but rent, you choose to put them in this world and if they live with you they don’t have to pay rent, they are your children!” added another one.
