Ana De Armas has finally become a full-fledged participant in the John Wick universe. Over the weekend, fans of the series got to know her character.
In anticipation of the premiere of the spin-off “Ballerina”, a short film about the filming of the film was shown at Brazilian Comic-Con and included footage from the thriller.
The screening was accompanied by a video message from Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski: “Today is a big day. “Keanu and I are thrilled to welcome Ana, Norman Reedus, and director Len Wiseman into the world of John Wick,” Deadline said.
Ballerina is set during the events of John Wick 3 (2019). In Ballerina, De Armas plays Eva Macarro, a famous dancer who begins training in the tradition of Russian Roma assassins in order to avenge her father’s death.
In the movie, which delights the fans of the series, Anjelica Huston, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves himself reprise his role as John Wick. The late Lance Reddick, who played Charon in the John Wick movies, will also appear on the big screen. The actor passed away last year. Her role in “Ballerina” was her last role.
