Jay-Z was quick to defend his honor after being accused of sexual assault. He was called P Diddy’s accomplice.

The allegations come in an updated lawsuit from the rap mogul’s alleged victim. P claims Diddy and Jay-Z harassed him after the 2000 Video Music Awards. The girl’s defender was lawyer Tony Buzbee, who launched a large-scale campaign against Diddy.

“He has an account and thinks public pressure will make me want to solve the case. No sir, it had the opposite effect! This made me want to expose your fraud. I won’t give you even a penny!” — Jay-Z wrote on his page.

The rapper also noted that if he were truly suspected of committing a crime, they would have filed a criminal case against him, not a civil one.

The incident first came to light in October, when an alleged victim of violence claimed that P. Diddy raped her while she was with a famous couple at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards party. The prosecutor noted that he was only 13 years old at the time of the crime. The original complaint named only P. Diddy as a defendant. The names of the man and woman were not released; many assumed they were Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
