Lucy Liu is open to discussions about the possibility of a Charlie’s Angels reboot. He is set to reprise his role as Alex on Monday.
In a new interview, Liu said she’s open to returning to the character she played opposite Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz 24 years ago. “I don’t believe information until they tell me personally. But I definitely won’t say no,” Liu explained to Entertainment Tonight.
The year 2025 will mark the 25th anniversary of the premiere of the film adaptation of the 1976 television series created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts and originally starring Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Lucy Liu starred in the 2000 film Charlie’s Angels and reprized the role in its 2003 sequel Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. In 2019, Elizabeth Banks directed the sequel to Charlie’s Angels, starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinski.
