The director revealed the intrigue for fans of the series. Although Penguin will be the first Batman spin-off of 2022, it will not be the last, according to Matt Reeves.
The director said on a social network that the next projects in the film universe will be made in the spirit of the Penguin movie. He added that other spin-offs will also revolve around certain characters. However, Matt didn’t say which ones he was around.
“The story of Oz is the story of Oz, and the goal is to make other stories the same,” the director said.
Let us remind you that the second part of Batman will be released in theaters on October 2, 2026. Work on Threequel is currently ongoing. As for Penguin, the penultimate episode of the project was released yesterday, and its final episode will air on November 11.
