In the story, three years have passed since Gi Hong won the death games grand prize and bested 455 other players in a brutal competition. She decided not to go to America to reunite with her daughter, but instead came up with a new plan to return to gaming and quit gaming altogether, Entertainment Weekly wrote.
Now much more prepared, Gi Hoon is desperate and will do whatever it takes to succeed. However, as the new teaser shows, controlling fellow players will not be easy in this version of the game. According to the official synopsis, his warnings go unheeded and tensions mount as other players question his intentions.
We previously announced that Im Shi-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon and Yang Dong-geun will join the “Squid Game” cast. The action-packed thriller will have three seasons in total.
