TikTok user Paige Hardy was shocked when other women approached her saying they had a similar experience and then reported the man to local authorities.
One woman shared the red flags she ignored after finding herself on the “worst first date of her life”.
Paige Hardy said it’s important to stick to your guns and follow your rules when it comes to dating a stranger.
He told people on TikTok how he ended up dating a “stalker” who was following and harassing dozens of women in his hometown.
She said, “It was my first day of class in college and I was in my ethics and this guy came up to me after class and said, ‘Hey, I’d like to ask you out., I’d like to meet you.

“Red flag number one, we are planning the appointment and he asks me if I want to come to his house and says he will make me dinner.
“I met him that day and I don’t feel very comfortable. I told him I would rather go to a cafe or bar.
“This guy gets mad and says, ‘Do you think I’m some kind of bastard? How dare you ?’ But I told her it was a rule I followed, so we ended up going to a bar.

“On the day of the appointment, it was incredibly uninteresting. I asked him what his favorite restaurant was in his area, this guy is 20 and his favorite restaurant is McDonald’s.
The man then asked Paige where she lived and she gave him the name of a huge building complex, but made up of the street where her condo is located.
A few days later, Paige received some messages from the man who blamed her for “ignoring” her text messages.

She later posted information about the boy on a local feminist Facebook page and began receiving comments from other women saying the man had approached them on social media.
“It turns out this guy gets into every single person’s DMs in his movie class that has a feminine sounding name,” Paige continues.
“Then a third girl said, ‘Oh my God, I see this guy all the time in my apartment complex, I thought he lived there. But another girl said,’ No, I see this guy all the time in my apartment. condominium.” and she called her.

“When I told my friend during her ethics class, she told me the man followed her home and harassed her on her way to the movies with her friends.”
She claimed that 39 women on the small Facebook page had commented that they had a “strange experience” with the man.
Paige eventually alerted local authorities, who told her they recognized the person of interest.
