Liam Hemsworth, who replaced Henry Cavill in the fourth season of The Witcher, shared his thoughts for the first time about why he accepted the role. Kelly and Mark talked about this on his show.

At the beginning of the interview, Liam stated that he became a huge fan of the Witcher game series about ten years ago. “I haven’t watched the show or read the books, but I have played the video game and it remains one of the best games of all time. “Netflix approached me almost two years ago with the offer to replace Henry, and I saw it as a great opportunity,” the actor shared. Hemsworth read the series and books to better understand the world of The Witcher before making his final decision.
He also said about the shooting schedule: “We have been shooting the fourth season for about nine months, there are about three weeks left. “We will be back next year and shoot for another eight months,” the actor added. Thus, the shooting of the fifth season will begin around March 2025 and will end in October of the same year.

Let’s remember, in October 2022, lead actor Henry Cavill announced that he would leave the project after the third season. Taking his place, Liam Hemsworth successfully adapted to the image of Harold of Rivia. Many fans liked Liam’s new look. In fact, the photo was liked by the sister of his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus, which angered his subscribers.
