The seventh episode of the movie “Scream” will be released on February 27, 2026. This was reported by Deadline, citing actress Neve Campbell and director Kevin Williamson.

Williamson, known for his films “Scream” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, will direct, and the script will be written by Guy Busiek, the author of “Scream 6”. The project will be produced by James Vanderbilt, William Sherak and Paul Neinstein. Campbell will once again play the lead role.
Sidney Prescott, the main character of the first three films, will return to the screens in Scream 7. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Courteney Cox and Patrick Dempsey will also reprise their roles.
It’s also worth noting that Christopher Landon (“Paranoia,” “Dirty Wet Money”) was initially attached to direct “Scream 7,” but left the project after Jenna Ortega refused to participate. Shooting of the project started this summer.
