There will be a sequel to “The King of Tulsa” starring Sylvester Stallone. The actor and executive producer of the series talked about it on a banned social network.

The artist noted that in addition to the positive response from critics to the second part of the project, there was also an increase in interest from viewers and an increase in viewership on streaming platforms. “I am very excited and shocked that our Rotten Tomatoes rating remained at 100% and the series has skyrocketed by 75%, which is unheard of. It is the second most watched show in the world across all streaming platforms. Thank you all very much and now we are working on the third season,” wrote Sylvester Stallone.
The Hollywood star is working on “The King of Tulsa” with producer Taylor Sheridan (“Yellowstone,” “The Mayor of Kingstown”). There were previously reports of a rift between the producer and showrunner Terrence Winter, which led to Winter being demoted to head writer of the series.
The renewal news comes after only the first two episodes of season two aired. The sequel bolsters its cast with the additions of Frank Grillo (Trigger Day) and Neal McDonough (Sonic the Movie).
The Hollywood star was previously accused of toxic behavior on the set of the show’s second season. Read about it here.
