Dream team: Bloggers and yachtsmen took part in the second stage of Sailing Media League TENZOR SAILING CLUB

Residents of big cities often do not have the time and energy to escape from the hustle and bustle. Brodsky advised to take the train and get off at the seaside to escape from problems and despair, but our heroes found a much simpler way. At the end of the summer season, yachtsmen and members of the press took part in the second stage of the first Sailing Media League in Russia.

It is interesting that sailing was included in the program of the Olympic Games in 1900. It took a long time for the discipline to become famous in Russia. Therefore, the main goal of the project is to increase popularity and make the audience fall in love with such a dynamic competition.

For a bright relaunch, professional and novice athletes went to the world-class international yacht club TENZOR SAILING CLUB in Pestovo, where for two days they competed for the title of finalist and the opportunity to receive the main prize of 3,500,000 rubles. Here, just an hour’s drive from the center of the capital, a portal opens to a world where luxury meets the picturesque expanses of the Moscow region.

Participants in the Sailing Media League include TV presenter Galina Rzhaksenskaya, actor Lev Cherepanov, actress Ksenia Surkova, participant of the show “Dancing on TNT” Daria Rolik, lifestyle blogger Fedor Strelkov, lifestyle blogger Alexandra Zaitseva, travel blogger and VK ambassador Tatyana Solovyova and many others.

The second stage of the sports competitions took place at the yacht club in Pestovo. The modern site is located on the shores of the Pestovsky reservoir, 35 kilometers from Moscow. The editor felt a pleasant dizziness, contemplating the peaceful landscape and freshness of the country air. After the visual pleasure, we invite you to enjoy the most advanced equipment of the yacht club, which has no analogues in Russia. The participants competed on a club monoflot of new high-speed yachts of the MX700 class. Having received theoretical training from experts in their field (by the way, local coaches have experience of working with Olympic champions), the athletes went out on the water. The program of the first day included four fleet races, one of which was a task with an Easter egg. The task of the participants was to replace one team member with the opponent team during the race. The points in the ranking depended on this.

The rules of the second day affected the composition of the teams. Race leaders became captains and new groups of participants were formed, divided into “red” and “blue”. The changes added a spark to the competition, as competitors now competed against each other, trying to help fellow crews and hinder rival boats. So-called neighborhoods were added to the usual points. To win, you need to collect the minimum number of points and as many arrivals as possible. The final leader of the stage was determined by the sum of the points earned on both days.

We sincerely congratulate the STAR TEAM and the winners of the second stage: Lev Cherepanov, Ksenia Surkova, Georgy Yatsun and Kirill Boboshko. The second and third places were taken by the AKHMAT and RUSSIAN ROCKET teams, which included Yana Sapeta, Maria Peryshkina, Yulia Koroleva, Alina Bure and Galina Rzhaksenskaya. The AKHMAT team received the special prize “The fastest to complete the distance” from RUTUBE.
