Kendrick Lamar will perform at the halftime of the 2025 Super Bowl on February 9. The rapper announced this on social networks.
“Rap is still the most influential genre. And I’m going to take the stage to remind the world why. They picked the right person,” the musician said.
NFL music president Seth Dudovsky called Lamar an artist who has had a “profound impact” on music and culture. “We’re thrilled to partner with Kendrick, Roc Nation and Apple Music to deliver another unforgettable show,” he said.
By the way, this is not the rapper’s first performance at the Super Bowl. Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige in 2022. We invite you to remember how it was!
Let’s remember that Usher was the headliner of the last Super Bowl. Later, the tabloids wrote that the rapper could perform one of the songs with Justin Bieber, but that didn’t happen. There was no conflict between the artists; it was just that the 30-year-old musician was not ready to perform at the time.
