On September 5, the premiere of the youth drama “Liar”, based on the best-selling book by Ayelet Gundar-Goshen and based on the true story of a 17-year-old schoolgirl, will take place. Cast: Elizaveta Ishchenko, Stas Starovoitov, Maryana Spivak and others.
The shooting took place in Nizhny Novgorod. According to the crew, the city’s setting was perfect for the film adaptation of the story: the bright and rich colors of the film complement the emotional worldview of the youth. The film is accompanied by a cover of Shura’s song “Don’t Believe in Tears”.
The plot is about 17-year-old Eva (Elizaveta Ishchenko), who got a job in a cafe for the summer. One day, the once famous singer Alexander Voronov (Stas Starovoitov) visited the establishment in a bad mood and took out his anger on a young waiter. Eyewitnesses of the scene made false inferences about the man. But Eve did not refute them. As a result, these events led to irreversible consequences. The deception went too far. But they will have to stop and admit their mistakes, risking losing the trust of the public and loved ones forever.
We previously announced the premiere date of Dune: The Prophecy, part of the Dune and Dune: Part Two film series.
