Joan MacDonald proves that age is just a number when it comes to nutrition and training.

Mom recently moved fans to tears when she shared her incredible five-year transformation.

Now, in an Instagram post to her 1.6 million followers, Joan has shared some useful fitness tips.

She wrote: “My not-so-secret tips for being healthy at any age.”

Her five tips include eating more protein and weight training at least three times a week.

He also stated that to see results, people must eat a diet rich in quality products.

Joan continued: “Tip number 4: be happy! Find more joy in your life! Surround yourself with people who help you thrive.

“Do things that bring abundance into your life! Only you can make yourself happy.

“And don’t rule out therapy either. Mental health is as important as physical health ”.

His fifth and final piece of advice was to “keep learning”, as he said developing a growth mindset was key.

He concluded: “Don’t let the cobwebs take hold.

“When you keep learning, like I had to do when I started using a smartphone, my mind started getting sharper and faster.

“It forced me to use my mind in a way I haven’t used in years. Use it or lose it!

“I hope these simple tips help you. I hope you all find joy in aging like me. “
