This is the second film adaptation of James Clavell’s 1975 novel, which chronicles the beginning of Japan’s Edo period and the establishment of the Tokugawa shogunate. When a mysterious European ship is found in a nearby fishing village, ruler Yoshi Toranaga discovers secrets that could tip the scales of power in his favor and destroy his enemies.
Stairs (2022)
The series follows crime novelist Michael Peterson, who was accused of murdering his wife Kathleen after she was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in their home, and the 16-year legal battle that followed. Starring Toni Collette and Colin Firth.
