It’s finally here!

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is in full swing and there are plenty of shops to help you celebrate in style.

Marks and Spencer has launched a wide range of Jubilee themed products to help you celebrate the occasion.

The supermarket giant’s products include caramel corgi mousse cakes and a giant honey-roasted ham sausage roll, with “HRH” on top.

But his latest offering, a Jubilee sandwich made with ham and an egg, was savagely mocked by online shoppers.

Some cheeky buyers even said the creation looked “made in the right hands of a monkey”, like Reported by The Mirror.

M & S’s interesting breakfast staple puts a quirky twist on the classic ham and egg sarnie that millions know and love.

Instead of slicing or mashing the egg, he decided to leave it whole in the middle of the sandwich.

When cut in half, the bun resembles a crown with egg yolk representing a large jewel in the center, although it leaves people confused as to how it would actually be eaten.

Priced at £ 4.25, the sandwich is only available for in-store purchase.

Comes in a box decorated with streamers to represent the Jubilee theme.

Marks & Spencer was targeted for its Jubilee sandwich, with shoppers claiming it looked like it was made from a monkey.

Unfortunately, shoppers on social media weren’t impressed, with one claiming the sandwich maker must have been drunk when the food was prepared and another calling it a “fiction.”

One person wrote: ‘It looks like it was created by the beautiful hands of a monkey.

“’Let’s put a hard-boiled egg in a bun. Yes. A whole hard-boiled egg! ‘ she said sandwich maker M&S farted.

While another said: “The M&S ham and whole egg sandwich is a hate crime between two slices of bread.

“And for £ 4.25 it’s a hate crime in your bank account. A joke.”

Others have asked if the sandwich is “70 years old” in an ironic reference to the Platinum Jubilee, which marks the milestone of the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

And one jokingly suggested that the queen herself must have made the sandwiches to justify the £ 4.25 price tag!
