In the film, a threat approaches the fairytale world of the songs “The King and the Clown” in the form of a Necromancer who resurrects the dead. Gorshok, the group’s leader, kidnaps his colleague Andrei Knyazev from the real world to save his family and friends. Together, the heroes will fight dark wizards and evil spirits, and at the same time try to revive their old friendship.
According to some reports, the main villain of Necromancer may be played by Nikita Kologrivy, Daniil Vorobyov or Yura Borisov. The subtitle “Like an Old Fairy Tale” refers to the band’s fifth studio album, released in 2001.
