Passport, tickets, wallet, phone, driver’s license, hotel reservation documents – we frantically check all this before leaving home. And on a trip, even the shortest one, you cannot do without them. However, there are other items that do not come to mind when preparing a travel bag. But these are things we often miss when traveling alone.
portable charger

No matter what one says, charging a smartphone will not be possible everywhere. There are sockets in the city not only in cafes but also in public transportation vehicles. Don’t count on your salary being enough. Sometimes we may not notice how some applications “consume” some of the energy, so it’s a good idea to take a portable battery with you. Some models have different connectors; Therefore, it is a good idea to take a network adapter with you if you have one.
first aid kit
What could happen if I only go for a few days? We hope it’s nothing. You can guarantee that safety standards are adhered to, but what about other people who are not so careful? The first aid kit will not take up much space, but it will come in handy even if you rub your feet in uncomfortable shoes. Also, you don’t know what infections may occur in crowded places. If you accidentally get injured, you can always treat the wound. Sudden allergies, fainting, headaches, motion sickness – all this will help remove the medicine from the first aid kit.
Thermos and lunch box
The thermos can be filled not only with water, tea, coffee and other drinks, but also, for example, soups. Most of the time we rely on the fact that water and food are available everywhere, but in reality there are times when food facilities are out of reach. And sometimes there is food, but it is either too expensive, or does not meet hygiene standards, or is only sold at certain hours, or is so exotic that there is a risk of allergies. To avoid fainting, it is better to take a snack with you and quench your thirst. You can take tea bags or powdered milk with you.
hygiene products
Keep dry and wet wipes, SPF cream, deodorant, comb, pads or tampons, condoms, cotton swabs, toothbrush, baby soap, shaver and mirror in your travel bag. Of course, you can find some things in any store or hotel, but it will be easier to have them on hand. For people with impaired vision, it is better to have a pack of contact lenses in advance in case they cannot be purchased during the trip. The same goes for sunglasses.
Spare clothes set
Even if you travel to a country with a warm climate, there is no guarantee that you will not get cold during your flights. The plane may need to land in another city where the weather is cooler. So stock up on a sweater or jacket. The same applies if you are traveling to a country with a cold climate: swimsuits and light clothing can be useful as home wear or when going to the sauna. It’s always a good idea to have a pair of socks and spare underwear on hand. Take two pairs of shoes with you: one more closed and one open. Check the weather forecast in advance to avoid spending extra money on your trip. It may rain, so it would be a good idea to bring an umbrella, raincoat or waterproof jacket.
