Profile of the chef: Arina Zhuravleva

I agree, it’s not really fair that everyone knows about good restaurants, but only a few know about the chefs who cook there and create the menu. We at The Fashion Vibes decided to correct this situation and created the “Chef Profile” section, where we will introduce you to the main chefs not only in Moscow, but all over Russia.

This time we talk with Arina Zhuravleva, the chef of Champ Bistro and the first girl in this section of our website. You may surely know him from the long series of breakfasts held at the restaurant on weekends. By the way, not only other projects but also famous personalities participate in them. For example, Champ Bistro recently had a collaboration with Elena Letuchaya. And we’re sure this is just the beginning.

By the way, before you go to Google, what else is Arina known for, we recommend that you study her biography in our material.

Let’s get started, shall we?

Arina Zhuravleva.

26 years.

Champion Bistro.

It all started with tartar and a misunderstanding about how and why people eat it. This is now my favorite dish.

Lasagna.

The most delicious cuisine is Italian cuisine. Because it is simple, juicy, aromatic but also refined. Well, who doesn’t love pizza or pasta?

This is not available yet.

Grandpa’s french fries.

I put it in thermomix (almost the same as the combine harvester – Ed.) a spatula and started spinning in front of my face.

Pancakes with homemade jam. By the way, I had to try very hard to convince her to cook it for me at home.

The chef only manages the process and does not cook the food.

Mayonnaise. I don’t like the taste and smell. I don’t use it at home and only on rare occasions in a restaurant. When I was a kid, I could eat it with a spoon right out of the jar. Seems like overkill.

Smiles of satisfied guests who are ready to return to you.

If at home, borscht. The restaurant offers boiled duck ravioli, cauliflower cream and sun-dried tomatoes with Gorgonzola cheese. I also love the scallop tartare with lemon cream and truffle sauce. I also love the bone marrow with chocolate ganache.

I dream of my own sandwich food truck. Preferably somewhere abroad so you can travel freely.
