An Australian woman has confessed to falling in love with the husband of her dying best friend after spending every day with her and her children for the past 12 months.
The woman, known simply as Katie, called Kyle and Jackie O on the KIIS 1065 radio show, a week after her boyfriend’s husband and guiltily buried each other in the hospital parking lot.
The couple were visiting friends and spouses at the hospital where he is expected to die of cancer in the coming weeks.
An Australian woman has confessed to falling in love with the husband of her dying best friend after spending every day with her and her children for the past 12 months.
The shocking confession caused Jackie to burst into tears, and Kyle warned Katie that she was in a very difficult and emotionally charged situation.
“It’s selfish, but I don’t blame you,” he said.
“You have to slow those feelings down and tell him if something happens to him, it can’t be done while he’s alive,” she said.
When Jackie exclaimed her disdain, “I don’t know how you could do that, I’m sorry for her.”
Katie said she kept her emerging feelings to herself for a while, but over the past few months she’s felt a “vibration” from her boyfriend’s husband.
It began with tender touches of the hands and rubbing of the back, before “both bowing” for a “very passionate kiss” in the parking lot after a traumatic visit.
The nature of the kiss convinced Katie that something long-term could come out of an emotional affair.
Since then, Katie has said that she felt so bad that her friend broke her trust and wanted to talk to her about the kiss.

Jackie O cried throughout the entire episode and mocked Katie for cheating on her boyfriend in such a cruel way.
She revealed that her friend had been battling cancer for five years, but in the past 12 months her condition had become terminal, and Katie made a commitment to the family.
He takes the kids to school and spends his days caring for the family while his best friend is in the hospital and slowly dies.
Kyle and Jackie O have decided that the boy will do nothing but hurt him at a time when he no longer needs them.
“I understand it will take away his guilt, but it will break him,” Kyle said.
“As her best friend, the least you and her husband can do for a dying girl is to respect her and let her die with a certain dignity.”
And fans of the radio station agreed to call her selfish, even considering telling the woman the truth.
“When you kiss your boyfriend’s husband, it’s time to be loyal, don’t hurt him anymore because you feel guilty, that’s selfish,” one woman exclaimed.
A man who lost a woman to cancer a few years ago was advising Katie not only to shut up but also to end the relationship.
“Now is not the right time,” he said, explaining that the man was probably alone and devastated by his wife’s condition.

Kyle and Jackie O decided that he would do nothing but hurt the boy when he no longer needed them.
“I see that he means well for your family, but he is not in his right mind right now.”
Others said the mother was devastated by the thought that she was probably already worried about her husband and children and would never see them grow up, adding more pain to that would be cruel.
While 95 percent of callers said Katie should keep it to herself, one woman said, “Only she knows if it’s the right time to say something.”
“When my mom died, she encouraged my dad and her best friend to be together because she was worried about us and how we would do without her,” she said.
“You add so much love to the family environment – you’ll form an emotional bond,” she added.
When asked directly, Kyle and Jackie agreed that Katie should deny that anything happened – her forgiving the woman.
Katie cried when people turned her on and said her harsh reactions didn’t make the situation clear for her.
She decided to consider the consequences of the news for her boyfriend.
“After all, he’s the one I really care about,” he said.
The unconventional couple saw each other after the kiss and were affectionate, but did not reveal or discuss the hot moment again.
