Since the official guest list has not been published yet. As per tradition, the names of most of the participants are revealed only shortly before the big day. However, some celebrities in the past revealed that they would be attending the event in the days leading up to it.

What is the theme of the 2024 Met Gala?
The theme of the 2024 event is “Sleeping Beauties: Fashion’s Awakening,” by Fashion. The exhibition will feature 50 items too delicate to be worn again. The complete collection will contain 250 drawings spanning four centuries drawn from the museum’s permanent collection.
It is also expected that nature will be at the center of the theme “as a metaphor for the fragility and ephemerality of fashion” and will help visitors “examine the cyclical themes of rebirth and renewal”.
The central theme of the exhibition is “Bringing new life to these historic objects through creative and immersive activations designed to convey smells, sounds, textures and movements of clothing that can no longer interact directly with the body.” To this end, the 2024 fair will “explore the concepts of rebirth and renewal, using nature as a metaphor for the impermanence of fashion.”
