Wanting to distance herself from her problems, the starlet goes to a nightclub where she has an important meeting with an influential man named Tedros. He is also the owner of the club and his role is played by Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, frontman of The Weeknd. Declaring himself her manager, he promises the girl a better life and help in her career. In the end, it turns out that all is not so great because Tedros accompanies his aid with violent means.

Although the creators of the movie (HBO) were pleased with the violent and harsh response to the project, they still refused to shoot the second season. Moreover, the series was already aired in a shortened form because it was originally planned to have 6 episodes rather than 5 episodes.
