Transparent house, Japan

This house in Japan prides itself on being made of glass. Designed by renowned architect Su Fujimoto, the house is made entirely of glass and inspired by the ancient lifestyle of human ancestors who lived in trees. The three-story house consists of huge glass walls separating the rooms, and the floors stand out like branches.
House Keret, Poland
Keret House in Poland has a concept where urban living space is used minimally. Architect Yakub Szczesny has his famous house sandwiched between two large buildings.
Even at its widest point, the house is only 122 centimeters long. The width of the narrowest point is about 52 centimeters.
old water tower, Netherlands




In 2012 the water tower in Utrecht was converted into a six-storey private residence consisting of three apartments and a commercial space on the ground floor.
Flintstone House, California




The famous Flintstones house in Hillsborough was brought to life by architect William Nicholson. Owned by businesswoman Florence Fang, the house is a replica of Fred Flintstone’s house from the American sitcom. It currently costs more than 326 million rubles. Fang also decorated his home with characters inspired by the Flintstones.
Resident Church, Netherlands




In 2009, this church in Utrecht was converted into a residential building. St. Jacobus Church was built in 1870, but lost its function as planned in 1991. It was later used as a showroom for events and furniture exhibitions before being converted into a residence.
Cement factory, Spain
This house is located in Barcelona and used to be a cement factory. Ricardo Bofill discovered the factory in 1973 and decided to give it a new meaning. The factory was abandoned and partially in ruins. It had more than 30 bunkers, a series of underground galleries and huge engine rooms. Parts of the house were destroyed and only eight bunkers survived. They became offices, archives, a library, a laboratory, a projection room, and a space called the “Cathedral” that served as a venue for events.
After two years of hard work, the architects were able to transform the rough structure into a stunning complex that doubles as a home and office.
House with clock tower in Brooklyn, New York



This house sits atop the Brooklyn Clock Tower and is on the market for $18 million. The 650-square-foot penthouse offers one of New York’s most beautiful views.
