More than 70 planes are expected to watch Her Majesty’s birthday parade complete with a six-minute flyover from the queen’s palace balcony.
Dozens of Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force aircraft will fly over Buckingham Palace on Thursday, June 2, as part of the platinum anniversary celebrations, the Ministry of Defense said.
It takes six minutes to fly over the crowds and is expected to host more than three times the number of planes taking part in the Queen’s latest birthday parade in central London in 2019.
After Merging the Colors, there are 18 family members on the balcony: the Queen; Carlo and Camilla; George, Charlotte and Louis and William and Kate; Edward and Sophie and their children Louise and James; Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence; The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester; The Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra.
But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be Prince Andrew and Prince Andrew’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.

While they won’t be on the balcony, Harry, Meghan and their kids will be attending the celebrations, though it’s unknown what elements of the four-day anniversary weekend they might appear in.
Other royals to appear for the historic event include Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as children of the Wessexes Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.
Aircraft will participate in the flight, including those used by the Red Arrows and the British military for operations around the world, the Department of Defense said.
The exhibition will show Royal Navy and Army helicopters and RAF aircraft recently seen in response to events in Kabul and Ukraine and the coronavirus pandemic.

The monarch limited the view of Trooping The Color’s balcony to working members of his family, with the Duke of York and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex missing.
Flypast also features highlights of RAF history, including aircraft from the Battle of the British Royal Air Force Memorial Flight.
Then comes the Queen’s Birthday Parade, known as the Colored Soldier, where a military glow is displayed during the Horse Guards Parade, attended by 1,500 officers and soldiers, and 250 horses from the Army Family Division.
Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said: “I am proud that the military led the nation in celebration with such a magnificent show.
“As we celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, Her Majesty’s 70th anniversary on the throne, we will all appreciate the experience, skills and talent of our military.”

Often at the center of major royal events, including Trooping the Color and weddings, the balcony stage often sees the Queen’s extended family gather to watch a flight parade and is a rare opportunity for fans to see the entire family. Enlarged to see together.
Narrowing the list to just 16 to avoid potential diplomatic pitfalls, the queen had to exclude numerous beloved relatives, including her beloved grandchildren and families.
Today, a friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s said they never wanted to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Queen for their platinum anniversary celebration.

Prince Andrew, who was to the left of his mother that day, was not included in the monarch, who will be gathered by the royal family members for the 2019 anniversary on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Omid Scobie, biographer of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, said Harry discussed the option of not attending Trooping the Color at the London Mall on June 2 with His Highness.
Despite that, he said the couple was “excited” to be part of the arrangements for the coming months, including the Thanksgiving celebration at St Paul’s Cathedral.
This comes after the Queen’s resounding announcement last week that the couple – along with Prince Andrew – will not be invited to the balcony for Colorful Trooping, a gorgeous start to the long commemoration weekend.
