After seeing a similar piece of furniture created by interior designer Atelier Akuko, Jaharn wanted to recreate the look of his own home.

“As with all home improvement stores, there were a lot of ups and downs when I first learned to make cabinets,” she wrote on her card. Web site.

The Bunnings team at Noosa assisted Jaharn with his project and offered him advice in the shop.

He started by measuring the width and height of the cabinet, then divided the number by two to verify the size of the doors.

“Go to Bunnings, get your premium white melamine and pine plywood MDF board and cut the cabinet doors and melamine MDF to size,” Jaharn said.

Using a stapler, she attached the melamine MDF (white side inward) to the back of the cube.

Cabinet doors are painted white and left to dry.

Meanwhile, he rotated the storage cube horizontally and fixed the door hinges according to the instructions.

All four legs are painted and then fixed to the cabinet with a drill.

To create the abstract design, Jaharn cut a series of shapes from MDF board.

‘Fix the edges with sandpaper. Place the abstract shapes in the closet and stick them with Liquid Nails.

Shapes can slide down the sides of the cabinet, so use masking tape to hold them in place and let the glue dry overnight.
