Mary J. Blige High Slit Sequin Dress & Ankle Boots for Grammys Presentation

Maria J. Blige won the 2023 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 5, when she wore a beaded metallic silver bodycon gown with huge cutouts on the sides on the red carpet. The 52-year-old singer was later introduced when she rocked a sequined gown with a high slit down the side of her skirt. She paired the low-cut dress with a pair of black studded over-the-knee boots, an oversized black hat, and sequined gloves.

Mary’s long-sleeved, high-neck red carpet gown hugged her body and she accessorized with a gold sash around her waist and a pair of oversized gold Sister Love hoop earrings. Mary’s dress was fabulous and her glam was just as good. She wore a long platinum blonde ponytail styled by a celebrity hairstylist, Tim Wallace, using FEKKAI products. A sultry dark smokey eye and glossy nude lip brought together her shimmering gaze.

Mary has won nine Grammy Awards over the years and was nominated for six nominations this year: Record of the Year (“Good Morning Gorgeous”), Album of the Year (Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)), Best R&B Performance (“Here With Me”), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Good Morning Gorgeous”), Best R&B Song (“Good Morning Gorgeous”), and Best R&B Album (Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)).

Not only was Mary J. nominated for the awards, but she also performed on the show. She performed her new song, “Good Morning Gorgeous.”

Mary always wears some sort of one-of-a-kind outfit and recently rocked a pair of high-waisted black leather pants with a blue button down shirt with black sleeves. She tucked half of her shirt into her pants and styled the outfit with a pair of silver stiletto heels, a Yankees baseball cap, gold necklaces, and a pair of huge gold hoop earrings.
