It went viral on social media after a pregnant woman revealed how her baby’s lump size changed with the time of day.
The UK-based influencer announced on TikTok that @alanas.life is in the middle of her pregnancy.
Sharing her lifestyle, the star, who has 83,000 followers, uploaded a video where her baby bump was barely visible at 10am and much more noticeable at midnight.
The short clip was viewed more than 155,000 times, and many commenters agreed that they assumed a pregnant woman’s belly remained the same size throughout the day.

Alana joked on TikTok that she “looked like she skipped a whole quarter in a day” when comparing images.
Alana wore a loose-fitting sundress for the video and rubbed her tummy with her hand to make her baby bump more visible.
After seeing the noticeable difference in size between 10:00 am and midnight, he joked in the post title: “Looks like he skipped a full quarter in a day.”
TikToker started a discussion with its followers in the comments section of the post.
Alana wrote: ‘Didn’t anyone else realize this was a thing before they got pregnant? I just thought your tummy stayed the same size all day hahaha
Many of those who responded to the comment admitted they were surprised by how much the baby’s belly had expanded in just a few hours.
One person wrote: ‘I’m 17 weeks and I’m so happy to see this is normal! I have a fist like this at the end of the day’




Multiple reviewers told Alana they were happy to see that the difference in the size of their pregnant bellies during the day was “normal.”
