Model Lexi Hughes has shared a series of sunset photographs from her holiday on Instagram, posing on a glass balcony overlooking the sea. The 20-year-old wore a semi-sheer white co-ord featuring a crop top showcasing her washboard stomach and a matching maxi skirt during an evening out on Wednesday.

Standing in front of an orange sky lined with palm trees, Hughes paired her outfit with slip-on sandals and styled her blonde locks in soft beachy waves as she gave followers an insight into her trip.

Her update came shortly after her mother, radio presenter Amanda Holden, posted photos of herself swimming during a business trip to Crete this week. Holden, 55, made sure to work her best angles for the camera as she lounged in and by the pool in a white Melissa Odabash bikini, accessorising with stylish shades and gold necklaces.

Writing in her Instagram caption, the Heart Breakfast presenter joked: "In Crete on business. The business appears to be mainly conducted in a bikini☀️." Fans were quick to compliment the mother of two, with one writing, "Oh, the poses are everything," while another added, "Such a beautiful woman."

Holiday snaps in Corfu
Prior to her latest pictures, Hughes shared a series of swimwear photographs from a family holiday on the Greek island of Corfu. Lounging by a swimming pool in a mint green bikini, the model displayed her toned figure and sun-kissed glow, opting for a make-up-free look with her long blonde hair worn loose. In another shot, she showed off her tan lines by slightly pulling down her bikini bottoms.

Hughes recently stepped into the modeling industry after being signed by Storm Management, a major agency based in London. She made her runway debut at London Fashion Week in 2024.

Defense against nepo baby claims
The social media posts follow recent comments by Holden addressing the debate surrounding "nepo babies" in showbusiness, arguing that parents naturally want their children to succeed in any field of their choosing. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Holden rejected suggestions that family connections guarantee career success.
"Being someone's kid is not going to secure work, make a living for you and longevity in whatever career," Holden said. "It may get you a foot in the door, but then you're on your own, so I think it's unfair to sort of single out showbusiness or the music industry, because they're the worst businesses to be in!"
Holden noted that individuals across all industries utilise networking connections, explaining that she actively assists young people entering the media sector. At Global Radio, where she hosts Heart Breakfast, teenagers regularly join the station for work experience to see how the industry operates.
"At Global, this is the week where the kids come in to make the tea and coffee and see how it all works. Everyone has such tenuous connections and it's brilliant, we welcome them with open arms," Holden explained. She added that her youngest daughter, Hollie, will participate in the programme next year: "Hollie is going to be doing this next year, but any kid that I know, if they needed a hand, the door is open. If I can help anyone, I'll do it. It's not just my own kids, it's my friends' kids."
Dismissing the negative connotations around industry links, Holden concluded: "I just hate the term nepo baby, because it's up to them to make it on their own. And it's often worse having a famous parent, it's not often a good thing."
