Coach Matea Roach, 23, from Toronto, Ontario, won his 14th title.Me too Today’s live game and total winnings reached $320,081. With this win, Roach placed 8th on the all-time consecutive games list and 10th in the all-time highest cash-winning tournaments.
Roach is also the most successful Canadian competitor on Jeopardy! Date. He answered 93% of the clues correctly in his 14 matches.
“It was such a crazy season of the show and I was totally thinking about Amy. [Schneider] “She might be here again,” said Roach. If not Amy, she will be another super champion who will lose my first match. “I guess I didn’t realize I could become the super champion I wanted to see in the world.”
Roach returns to the stage on Monday, April 25, to face two new rivals: Michael Graf of Eastville, California, and Jesse Francis’ Marietta of the USA.
