Jennifer Lawrence admitted that she was pressured by her weight on the set of The Hunger Games.

The actress played Katniss Everdeen on the series 10 years ago, and now in an interview with Viola Davis for the “Actors on Actors” variety series, she admitted that the most important topic of conversation was the question: “How much do you weigh? Are you going to lose it?”
In the series based on the novels of the same name, Katniss is a hungry and poor girl trying to win the survival game, leading the film’s directors to suggest that Jennifer needs to lose weight to fit the story.

But despite management pressure to lose weight, Jennifer stuck to her diet-free approach for a role for both herself and her young fans.
The actress added: “While being young, growing up, and not able to diet, I don’t know if I want all the girls who are going to dress like Katniss to feel like they can’t because of lack or excess weight. Nor can I let it seep into my brain.”
