Winter is the hardest but also the most interesting period for all urban fashionistas. During the three cold months, we must resort to special craftsmanship and maximize our ability to experiment. All so as not to freeze (first) and not look like a snowman (second).

We have already told you how to create a basic winter wardrobe, where to buy fashionable outerwear and what you need to do to wear a coat in the new season in cold weather.

Now we decided to go even further and asked fashion influencers what wardrobe items they could not imagine without a single winter season. And as a bonus, we’ve collected a selection of trendy things that you should definitely watch out for in the near future.

As a shoe fan, I’ll start right away with the main thing. You should definitely buy boots or high-soled boots this season. The zip-front Row and Bottega Veneta have settled heavily in my wardrobe, and I really like the newcomer Mattia Capezzani with heels. The high sole is not only for legs a few centimeters long, but also absolutely warm.

Overalls

Jumpsuits are another winter must-have and a proven lifehack to save time at training camps and look super stylish at the same time. For cold weather, I created a collection with a particularly favorite cashmere version of 12 Storeez – I wear it separately and as a basis for bows, skirts and jackets. I also love denim Paige – a win-win option and a real lifesaver. And already on the wish list is Bottega Veneta in dark chocolate.

As a teenager, the word “down jacket” was associated with something not very comfortable and not at all fashionable. The adults said it had to be taken, but I didn’t want it. I think it’s because design leaves a lot to be desired and I wanted to be fashionable from an early age. We now have a new wave of plus sizes, and brands have started looking for more interesting styles, making jackets “inflated” and bulky. It is not surprising that many fashionistas literally fall in love with this garment. So now a down jacket is not only comfortable and warm, but also fashionable!

Recently, the popularity of the hood has been growing at a rapid pace. And this is not surprising – it works great on its own and can also be worn as an underlayer, for example, under an eco-leather scarf. It is elegant, therefore it is ideally combined with feminine outerwear (coats and fur coats) and looks advantageous with sports jackets. Well, let’s not forget that the hoodie perfectly copes with the task of protecting from the cold. Some models are made in such a way that you can pull the lower part over your nose or leave the face completely open.

For the second year, I cannot imagine the winter season without a sheepskin coat-aviator. For a very long time I was looking for a universal outfit that would look advantageous both with sports trousers and with a trendy maxi skirt. Another plus of sheepskin is that you don’t have to look for a compromise between “beautiful” and “warm”.

Warm outerwear adds volume to the look, which often needs to be balanced with a tight bottom. That’s why in my winter wardrobe there are always tights that allow me to create clothes from the difference in volume. Thanks to this, you can advantageously emphasize the figure and not look like a “mountain”. And in general this is a real position in the wardrobe that can be part of multi-layered looks.
