Nicole Kidman visited The Music Man on Broadway starring Hugh Jackman. When it ended, the actress donated $100,000 (six million rubles) to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (an organization that raises money to fight AIDS).
Nicole donated that amount, betting on the hat Hugh displayed on stage. “I love you, I love Broadway, and I love what you do, Broadway Cares,” said a participating fan in a video posted on Twitter.
He also made it clear that the show was “outstanding” before leaving the stage with the hat he bought.
I’ve known Nick for almost 30 years. Having worked with him, I can say that it is not surprising. He’s one of the most generous souls I’ve ever met,” Hugh Jackman told Nicole after such a generous donation.
